about us

thencomesmarriage.com was created in 2002 by a bride who specialized in web design. From 2002-2005, I offered a wide variety of services including professional web site design, graphic design, and other small business services such as logo and banner design. Months after the creation of this site, I started another business, inababycarriage.com where I offer photo birth announcements, invitations, holiday cards, etc.

With the overwhelming success of the baby biz, I had to put this site on hold for a year while I dedicated all of my time to the baby site. Now that I have teamed up with PhotoAffections, I am able to spend more time creating new designs and it only made sense to update this site to offer the same type of products I've been offering on inababycarriage for the last 4 years.

Every design you see on this site was created by me personally for the thencomesmarriage.com line, which is sold exclusively on the PhotoAffections website.

I have a true passion for design and feel lucky that I have discovered the job that has me excited to wake up each morning and go to work. With the support of my loving husband, I have been given a chance in life to start a business where I can pour my heart into it and know that I am creating something that makes others happy to share. Thank you for giving me that opportunity.

My background: I received my B.A. in Graphic Design from California State University, Sacramento in 1996. My first job out of college was at a computer magazine doing page layouts, which I left after 3 years to move down to Sunny Southern California. I stuck with magazine layout for another year until I made the transition over to web design where I found my real love for design. I was a ".com" web designer for 3 years when I decided to venture out on my own to start my first business, thencomesmarriage.com. It was an inevitible transition to move over to the baby side once the wedding days were farther and farther behind me. My main purpose in starting my home-based business was so that when the time came for my husband and I to start our family, I would be able to work from home and spend time with the kids. So far, so good....
